Building a Business
I have these moments when ideas just hit me. All the sudden I make sense of things and have this insane amount of clarity. That happened to me Saturday when I was sitting at my desk contemplating my business structure and all of the things I need to accomplish.
When you are running a business there are so many facets to it. Marketing, bookwork, scheduling, creating… The list goes on. As I was thinking of this for myself, I began to visualize my business as a house. And I thought about what it would look like if my business were a home and someone was coming to visit and get a tour for the first time.
Side bar- I heard on a podcast interview a few weeks ago a coach was talking about her business and the feeling she wants people to have when they work with her. And it’s a feeling of being at home. That cozy, gooey, loveliness that we feel when we are home.
And I thought YES! That’s exact what I want to create. So I’m sure, as I began drawing out the sketch below that was somewhere in my subconscious mind.
But as I drew this out I thought it would be a great way for other business owners to get clear on what it is they are creating. What are the rooms of your business(home)? What is your foundation built on?
I have actually drawn this out many times with my business owner clients. I draw on my white-board that I love to pull out during session (IYKYK). On the bottom where the foundation is we discuss all the things they need to have solid and secure before they start building their empire. Health & well-being, spiritual connection, emotional mastery, financial structure… so on. This becomes the basis in which we work so that they can build the business of their dreams that will stand the test of all things life can throw. Because when you are secure in your foundation, you go on to create/build empires.
This sketch I did for Lionheart is much simpler and I will likely do a deeper dive. But for a first time rough sketch of this business, I’m loving it. I love seeing it in a way that my brain can understand. I think in terms of metaphors so I can’t help but to get excited when I look at my business as a home for people/clients to visit. SO that they can then, come home to themselves.
Because that is my ultimate goal and my main mission here at Lionheart. To teach you how to have peace, and an ease within your life. It’s what I craved for YEARS and I finally found it. So now I get to show you that it’s possible.
What does you house of business look like? What is the first thing people would see when they walk in? What is your foundation built on? And they over-all message/mission?
Might be a fun little creative project for you to work on! If you do I’d love to see it! You can either tag me on socials- instagram.com/lionheartcoachingco or email me at hello@lionheartcoachingco.com ❤️
